EFA Quality Summary
View contentsThe EFA Quality Summary report shows the achievement, retention and success rates for EFA qualifications.
Parameters
- Centre – This filters by the selected centres.
- Contractor – This filters by the selected contractors.
- Start / end date – These filter data by learners who were live at any point between these two dates.
- Learning Aim Reference - This lets you filter by the selected qualifications.
- Category – This lets you choose whether to show the achievement, retention or success rates (or all).
- Exclude Suspended Learners – This lets you exclude suspended learners from the results.
- Exclude quals with no data - When set to Yes, the report will only show qualifications which have start, completer or achiever figures in the results.
- Exclude obsolete assessors - When set to Yes, this will remove obsolete assessors from the optional filter parameter if assessor is chosen as the optional grouping. Also, if grouped by assessor, it will group learners with obsolete assessors under a No assessor grouping.
- Optional grouping / filter - These let you optionally group and filter by assessor.
- Ready to run – Set this to Yes when all other parameters are set (this prevents the report from running automatically on the default parameters).
Layout
For each qualification, the report shows the achievement, retention and success rates (depending on what is selected in the Category parameter) by notional level, SSA, qualification type and funding band. Each rate is compared against the national rate, with the difference displayed at the end. Clicking on the number of completers or starters will show a drilldown detailing those learners.
The different types of measure are as follows:
- Achievement - The rate of achievers to completers
- Retention - The rate of completers to starts
- Success - The rate of achievers to starts
