Course Attendance Monitoring
The Course Attendance Monitoring report shows the attendance percentage for each course stream.
Parameters
- Centre - This filters by the selected centres.
- Department – This filters by the selected course departments.
- Course – This filters by the selected courses.
- Stream – This filters by the selected course streams.
- Exclude obsolete assessors - When set to Yes, obsolete assessors will not be shown in the Assessor parameter or the Assessor column.
- Assessor – This filters by the selected assessors. The filter is applied to assessors associated with the courses, not the assessors linked to learners on the courses.
- Start / End date – The results are filtered by course periods which occur between these two dates.
- Day filter – This filters by the selected day(s) of the week.
- Only show rows with recorded attendance – When set to Yes (default), only course periods which have attendance recorded against them will be shown. When set to No, all valid course periods will be shown.
- Only include learners currently enrolled on course - When set to Yes (default), only attendances for learners assigned to the relevant course stream will be counted in the report. To check this, open a course record and go to the Space Allocation tab - learners must appear in the This Stream area on the right to be counted. i.e. If a learner is on the stream, has attendance records entered and is then removed from the This Stream area, their attendance will no longer appear on the report when the parameter is set to Yes. If the parameter is set to No, attendances for learners removed from a stream will be counted.
- Ready to run – Once you have selected the other parameters, set this to Yes and click View Report. Please note that this is to prevent the report running automatically before parameters have been selected, as this happens when all parameters have default values set.
Layout
The report lists courses, course streams and course periods, showing for each one the associated assessor, number of attendances, number of non-attendances and the attendance percentage.
