ILR Framework Progress
This report applies only to English contracts.
The ILR Framework Progress report shows a list of learners and the progression details of their ILR framework.
Parameters
- Centre – This filters by the selected centres. All are selected by default.
- Contractor – This filters by the selected contractors. All are selected by default.
- Scheme – This filters by the selected schemes. All are selected by default.
- Exclude obsolete assessors - When set to Yes, if the report is grouped by assessor then learners with an obsolete assessor will be counted under a No assessor option.
- Grouping 1, 2 and 3 – These are the three categories you wish to group by. The defaults are Centre, Contractor and Assessor.
- Learners to display – This allows you to filter by in-training learners only, leavers only, or both.
- Period start date and Period end date – The learners included in the report are those who were/are in training between these two dates.
- Exclude suspended learners - This will include suspended learners when set to No (the default) and exclude them when set to Yes.
- Ready to run – Set this to Yes when all other parameters are set (this prevents the report from running automatically on the default parameters).
Layout
The report is comprised of a list of learners grouped by the three selected group parameters. As with other list reports, clicking on a learner's name will display their Learner Summary report. The first three columns show each learner's name, scheme and NVQ title.
The Main Aim column can have three states: if it is grey, the learner is not working towards a main aim; if it is white, the learner is currently progressing towards the main aim; if there is a date, this is the main aim achievement date.
The Key Skills column shows the number of key skills completed and the overall number of key skills being taken. For example, 1 / 2 means one of two key skills has been completed. If the field is grey, no key skills are being taken.
The Tech Cert column works on the same principals as the Main Aim column (grey = no tech cert, white = in progress and a date = achieved).
The Total Sub-Aims column shows a count of the total number of completed/taken sub-aims. Clicking this figure will show a drilldown report detailing each of the sub-aims. This is useful for identifying sub-aims which cannot be identified as key skills or tech certs via the LARA.
The Ofsted Success (Apprenticeships) column shows individual success rates for Apprenticeship learners, separated into the overall and timely measures. The field will be blank if a learner is not an Apprentice. Otherwise, it will show one of the following values:
- In learning - The learner is currently in learning
- Completer - The learner has achieved their main aim but not their framework
- Achiever - The learner has achieved their framework
Finally, the ILR Completion Status displays each learner’s Completion Status from the ILR.
